Before riding with Bus Party Okoboji, please take a moment to review our official terms and policies. This public page outlines what’s expected of every passenger—from safety rules and alcohol policies to cancellation terms and responsible behavior on board.
Terms & Conditions for all riders
When you reserve a ride with Bus Party Okoboji, you’re agreeing to the following terms:
Payments for renter
A $150 down payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This amount goes toward your total trip cost.
We charge a 3.4% fee for all credit card processing payments.
Prior to your trip, the renter must complete the “Credit Card Authorization Form,” which allows Bus Party Okoboji to securely store your credit card on file via Square for incidentals. The credit card on file will only be charged if needed to complete full payment for the reservation, violations of Terms and Conditions Agreement or payment for repairing damages. Damage fees will include the cost of the item that needs to be replaced, delivery charges, and labor needed to make the repairs.
The renter’s card will be retained securely for up to 14 days after your event for potential charges related to damages to the vehicle, excessive cleaning fees, or policy violations (e.g., smoking, underage drinking, illegal activity)
No charges will be made unless necessary, and you will be notified if any charge is applied.
The remaining balance is due prior to departure and may be paid via cash or Venmo.
Overtime is billed at $150/hour, payable in advance before each additional hour begins, subject to availability.
By submitting payment, you acknowledge agreement to all Terms, Conditions, Rules, and the Cancellation Policy.

You may not stand on the seats. One warning will be issued. A second violation results in a $100 fee.
No illegal drugs. Anyone found in possession will be removed from the bus, and the trip may be terminated with no refund.
Remain seated while the bus is in motion to reduce the risk of injury.
All alcohol must remain on the bus. Open containers are not allowed outside.
No glass drinking cups. Use plastic or disposable cups. Glass bottles are allowed but not recommended.
Private Driveways & Routing Requests
Our company will not service private driveways, dead-end roads, single-lane roads, and dirt roads due to safety concerns. Please avoid route requests that may take our large buses into small areas with little or no space to maneuver our buses and can cause unforeseen issues. Please understand that we are taking full liability for any damages to our vehicle and others’ property, lost rental time, canceled rental, etc., and any other unforeseen issues that may arise from your route requests.
Alcohol & Age Restrictions
We cannot provide or purchase alcohol for your event.
We are not responsible for underage drinking. The driver may request ID and inspect containers if underage consumption is suspected.
Damage & Clean-Up
If bodily fluids are found through the bus, a minimum of a $100 clean-up fee will be charged. Let the driver know immediately if someone feels sick so we can pull over safely.
The person signing the contract is responsible for any general cleaning (garbage in bags). An excessive mess or trash left behind may result in a cleaning fee of up to $100.
Any damage to the stereo or equipment due to misuse (e.g. extreme volume or changing audio settings) will be billed at full replacement cost.
General wear and tear will not be charged, but light to severe damage will be billed accordingly for the repair. Damage fees will include the cost of the item that needs to be replaced, delivery charges, and labor required to make the repairs.
